Among the snowy mountains a dark evil is brewing. A young warrior, Ulf Magnusson, is unknowingly ensnared in a plot to take the throne. Faced with a desperate situation Ulf chooses to fight.
Ulf Magnusson is my first longer-form comic. It is an action-fantasy story written as a contained single issue of 28 pages. I wrote the outline for this comic in 2020 as the background for a Dungeons & Dragons character, and over 2021-2022 developed the short story into a comic script and penciled all the pages. The comic has been digitally inked in Photoshop and is ready for the colour layers and the lettering. A few pages were developed to a finished form and are part of the anthology Skulls #2 (now available here for free!).
